The Well is a different place to live: steady structure, a manager who lives in the house, and other men doing the same work. We provide the structure. He brings the willingness.

A home, not a facility. Fully furnished, with Wi-Fi and laundry. Shared and private rooms. Monthly rent, prorated for the day he moves in.

What a day looks like

The day has a shape, and it's the same shape every day. That is the structure.

Who lives here

Every man gets the same welcome and the same structure. Each one got here his own way.

  • Finishing inpatient, residential, PHP or IOP
  • Needing a fresh start away from home
  • Sober, and wanting more structure
  • Coming in from the rooms

Every man here goes to meetings.

It's the one thing we ask of everyone, regular 12-Step or SMART attendance. Men who want structure find it's what holds the house together.

How placement works

Call or email

Tell us who he is and where he's coming from. Referrers, families and the man himself all use the same number.

Get an answer the same day

A clear yes or no on a bed.

Move in

The room is furnished and ready. IOP, inpatient and self-referrals are all welcome.

For referrers and families

Referrers

Discharge planners, therapists, interventionists and sober coaches. Place a client and know where he is. We call back the same day, and with his consent we keep you updated so the discharge plan holds.

Families

A straight answer about what the house is and what we expect. A certified house, a manager who lives there, and a call from us if something is wrong. Also for the son who needs a fresh start away from home.
